Here's a recipe that won over $6,400 in the National Resers Fine Foods potato salad challenge at the World Food Championships in Las Vegas, NV. It takes a little time and effort, but the results are pretty impressive.

Hoggin Sauce

This sauce is a great all around crowd pleaser

Jeff's uncle used to talk about a couple of friends who used to go Hoggin occassionally on Saturday nights when times were lean. We won't go into that here, just rest assured this sauce will go with just about anything you drag home. Especially smoked BBQ.

Big Woodie Rib Rub

Making homemade rub is to most people, too time consuming and pound foolish. This recipe isn't for them.

Chef Paul Kirk inspired us years ago to make our own rubs and marinades. If you make them, you control what goes in and what doesn't. It's also less expensive and if you're a foodie, it can be fun. This is an old rib rub recipe that we used to use back in the early days. It's a good all around rub.

Big Woodie BBQ catered our corporate event by cooking a whole hog with everything from Hog Apple Baked Beans to caramel cheesecake. They even brought their BBQ smoker to use as a serving table for the hog. Great guys!!
